Have you ever been in a congress where *paletas are given away in trolleys? or having lunch breaks in the exhibition hall? This and lots more, accompanied by an overwhelming dampness only broken by downpours, took place in the 30th edition of Andicom for two days , from Sept 2nd to 4th at the Convention Center of Cartagenas de Indias.
Lleida.net attended together with other 14 Catalan companies under the umbrella of the Catalan Generalitat and Catalonia Trade & Investment, a unit of ACCIÓ, the Agency for Business Competitiveness.
A constant flow of curious visitors dropped by our booth. The Congress also had room for Speed networking (or speed business meeting) where meetings are held to accelerate business contacts . Colombian companies greet each other in a series of brief exchanges on their prospective technological projects during a set period of time.
And the day came when we explained our achievements in Colombia, highlighting our most symbolic success namely to provide 4-72 the Colombian National Postal Service with registered communications (sms and email).
Sometimes 10 minutes is a very long time, sometimes it is not. When you have to explain a project in a simple and clear way 10 minutes is fair enough but if you wish to share all the experiences, feelings, relationships behind each project then 10 minutes is such a short time.
And now (as could not be otherwise) I wish to express my gratitude to all those who participated in the event. In particular to my workmate Mrs Palmira, always ready to help in whatever way, to each and every of my Acció fellows for their kind care and attention, and to the colleagues in the other firms.
And a big thank goes to all those share with us chevere* moments.
