Lleida.net’s 30th anniversary takes us back to 1995, when the internet was still an enigma for most. Thirty years later, we haven’t just observed our clients’ digital transformation—we’ve helped shape it.
As we mark our 30th anniversary, we do so at the pinnacle of our journey so far: Q1 2025 has delivered the strongest financial performance in our company’s history. With €5.29 million in revenue—up 12% year-on-year—and an EBITDA of €1.22 million, this success highlights the strength of Lleida.net’s 30th anniversary year.
It’s a fitting achievement in a year when we’ve firmly cemented our position as one of Spain’s most prominent trusted electronic service providers. Our proprietary technology portfolio empowers remote interactions between businesses and end customers, offering varying levels of legal certainty tailored to each communication. From simple, lower-evidence SMS notifications
to services with the highest level of legal robustness, such as issuing qualified digital certificates compliant with EU eIDAS regulations, on par with those from Spain’s national authority, FNMT.
We take pride in developing all our technology in-house. This independence has always been central to our identity and allows us to deliver every service without relying on third parties. It also gives us tighter quality control, cost efficiency, agile client adaptation, and secure data management.

In 2024, we launched an ambitious cost-control and commercial growth strategy, backed by a refreshed brand identity: a bolder colour palette, new team structures, and a renewed push for innovation reflected in our expanding patent portfolio. We’re building bridges between the past and the future— a strategy that’s already bearing fruit as we celebrate this milestone year.

Robust performance across all business lines
All business lines showed stable performance, with two areas standing out:
Registered contracting services grew by 31%
Commercial SMS rose by 29%
We also continued to strengthen our financial position, reducing net debt by 7%, close to €500,000.
“We’re focusing on high-margin, standardised product lines, which now account for 48% of total sales,” explains Beatriz García, our Chief Business Officer. “It’s a key year for product development. We’ve rolled out new features that our clients have responded to enthusiastically”.

New solutions for our 30th anniversary
Responding to client needs, we’ve launched a suite of new tools in 2025. According to Carlos Rodriguez, EMEA Sales Director:

One highlight is Click & Sign via WhatsApp, which makes it easier than ever to sign documents in everyday scenarios while verifying sender identity. We also introduced a new KYC process with liveness detection—a customisable, ready-to-deploy-in-48-hours tool that prevents identity fraud before it happens. It is fully compliant with SEPBLAC, AML/KYC, CTF, and eIDAS.
Click & Automate, our process automation platform, also continues to evolve, letting users design and manage workflows intuitively.

And it’s not just for large enterprises. More individuals are turning to our services for everyday legal certainty, whether to register a key communication or secure a quick digital signature. We’re here for all of them.
Lleida.net’s 30th Anniversary: A pioneering spirit that hasn’t faded
We’re proud to mark 30 years of a company that has never lost its entrepreneurial spark. The story of Lleida.net began, as many great tech stories do, almost by chance. In the mid-90s, a group of friends with a shared passion for amateur radio built what was then called a BBS, a rudimentary forerunner to today’s internet.
From that small, curious experiment, something remarkable grew.
They launched Lleida’s first internet service provider—a bold step that gave rise to the company we are today. Lleida.net was born out of curiosity, rooted in its local community but always looking outward.
As technology progressed, so did we. We moved from simple SMS services to become a European pioneer in the certification of electronic communications, both outgoing and incoming—a natural step into the world of secure digital contracting.
Since then, we’ve consistently evolved. We’ve built a broad portfolio of services and invested in developing our technology, enabling businesses and institutions to digitise critical processes—from communication to documentation—with speed, legal certainty, and peace of mind.
Today, we operate internationally and are listed on several stock exchanges.
We’re proud to be a reference in the digital trust space, and the only telecom operator that is also a qualified trust service provider authorised to issue digital certificates.
